Angry at tim. He doesnt make sense, and hes amgry at ME for 'dressing to sexy' (wtf?).
Does he think ill get raped?
Does he think ill get molested?
People dont get raped BECAUSE they wear a red shirt.
They get raped when rapists CHOOSE to rape or molest.
There is no excuse for molestation, rape, unwanted advances or remarks.
Noone attracts those things or earms those things.
Those things are things that bad people (often men) do, when they choose to do something rhey know is wrong.
It isnt my JOB, to put effort into avoiding people seeing me sit on the bus or walk in the street.
This isnt a poor extremist country where i can only show my eyes or i will get attacked;
I ALREADY DRESS normal for work, and i dress conservatively compared to other women here as well.
So after this, im not going to let tim bother me, because if he doesnt trust me by now, he wont ever learn to trust.
He has a right to worry about my wellbeing, danger, safety, life... He has a right to want me safe and protected. He DOESNT have the right to simply hate people talking to me or looking at me like a human being.
I dress appropriately at work, thru guidelines for work. I am not distracting, and no interactions from employees (male or female) impact or change my work at all.
Siiiigh... I can tell he is upset, too, i just cant figure out why. His concern doesnt make sense; theres no Threat or Concern to actually worry ABOUT. I am not dumb, and ive warned him several times to not call me that, and its an ultimatum this time.
Im smart, good, kind, loving, reasonable, logical, and nice.
Im not dumb, and i dont deserve to be called that.
Sigh. Grrrrrr cant focus at work >_<;;;;
