Got a notice from the clinic I was supposed to get evaluated for ADD this month or so. Guess what. They're slumped and I'm at the end of a 6-month long queue.
Right. And this happens right as I've realized that I won't be able to do the big thesis paper without the help of cog. therapy/meds. Simply because that shit is HUGE and requires more buckling up and concentration than I'll realistically be able to do.
In other news, I received notice that my gaming columns are becoming too long. Heh, and every time I start one up I fret over how I can fill that space, and hours later it's "Omg what can I leave out??"
My arm is sore. Definite mouse ergonomy issue.
I've worked enough overtime to earn double my regular salary for this paymonth. That's a yay. On the other hand, I still haven't got around to talk to my professor about the undergraduate thesis. That's a woe.
Interesting links:
Religions of the world. Mmm, statistics.
Language log. Filled with such interesting issues as
the validity of ending a sentence with preposition (it's totally kosher),
rebutting "untranslatable words" (btw,
ever wondered about the myth of Inuits and their snow words?) and
the ridiculous names for a cup of coffee (20 oz? For realz?).
Going to do something about that arm now.
