You Won't Believe How This Local Pigeon Post Successfully Delivers Package On Time!

That is to say, on Thursday, 24th of December, which is the day we open presents here in Germany (because we're impatient like that, what are you going to do about it, Britain??), to my great confusion my father informed me that a package from the US had arrived. Now, even with my marshmallow brain at some point it registered that this had to be my secret santa from ikel89's gift exchange, and a lot of flailing followed (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*: ・゚

So, right away a mighty THANK YOU goes out to dear wintergreen126! Your package was amazing, and such a wonderful surprise! (My luck with the post was recently somewhat hit-and-miss so I was super happy everything arrived in one piece and also on time, even!)

Since it was an American package, I opened it only earlier today, and upon opening it I got the instant impression of summer and flowers. This was because of the lovely scent of the Lush bath bomb, and ever since, my entire room defies the snowless, muddy December blues by being a lavender field of its own. I can't wait to try it out - and don't worry, I don't hate on pink/refuse to accept its existence *(*´∀`*)

Continuing clockwise is Harvard, the kitchen sink cat! Your letter explaining the sadly restricted postage of cats from the US made me appreciate this little fellow even more, haah. Now I shall go wash ALL THE DISHES under the watchful eyes of my own personal cat. Unlike a real cat, this one won't even dirty dishes itself - quite handy!

I haven't tried the chocolate yet, but it sounds absolutely delicous! The hand lotion is, as you say, a very pleasantly low-key scent (recently I accidentally bought handlotion that is so violently cherry-scented that it's really painful, for example), and a very welcome practical gift. As are the notes - I'm not sure where I fall on the greyscale of laziness/procrastination, but I know for sure my friends will see a lot of these notes in the future...

Your letter itself was amazing, also - actually, I think the legal paper just adds personality to it, so don't mind don't mind! As for-

-don't mind that, either! It took me a bit getting used to, but that always happens to me with anglophone handwriting for some reason. I think it's really lovely and even, actually, far surpassing my chickenscrawl that is just. Random. Changeable like the weather, really.

So, again, thank you very much! It was such a lovely and kind package to receive *(*´∀`*)
Happy Holidays, dear Urmilla!

gift exchange, kay konnektion
