Considering December and the first week of January zoomed by in a blur of work and being sick, the holiday spirit kind of missed me, but thankfully, the expert Santas in
ikel89 's crew came through with delightful surprises to brighten the grey days once again! :)
Since I had listed my parents' address,
sigrundora 's package was already waiting for me by the time I got home for Christmas break, and what a lovely package it was!
Overview of all the lovely contents first, so you know what the pretty bluegreen background to the followoing pictures is - a gorgeous handmade scarf that definitely fulfils my "I wish I could wear a blanket to work" dreams <3
There was also one more handcrocheted item, this spring coloured lanyard :) I'm looking forward to switching them out in the future! The blue one definitely will go to use in my library work at school!
Speaking of school, also handmade were these versatile stamps that definitely will be put to use for my younger grades when I have to decipher I mean correct their work. Putting several one one block is so smart :') Wish more stamps would do that, it would make collecting them so much easier!
They also came with big ink pads :)
For more school/craft supplies, there was also a collection of very pretty washi tapes, practical page tabs and highlighters! Now all I need is some actual motivaiton to get back into work haha :')
Because it is more inviting to waste my time, e.g. reading manga, and for that I now have a tracker - the title had me laugh out loud, ngl :'D (Only missing "In another world" but alas, that's not an option I guess)
There was also a collection of chocolates I'm eager to try once my sense of taste and smell has fully recovered :) I'm also enjoying squinting at the language and seeing how much I can guess from its relation to middle German :D These all look delightful (I'm especially curious about the tangerine one!) and I'm looking forward to snacking on them to brighten this dreardy rest of winter!
Last but not least, some cute stickers for next year's holiday season and hand sanitizer that I shall make a lot of use of, pray I won't get sick again this season :')
Thank you so much, dear Santa!! It was a lovely package to receive :) I hope you had peaceful and relaxing holidays yourself and that the next year will bring good things to you most of all <3
I also found a letter in my inbox when I came back to Munich, that being the Santa letter from @ambyr !
It came with some lovely stickers and three handwritten recipe cards and sound adulting advice. And a recommendation for a CSI Vatican level insane but actual historical event book I had never heard of - I'll definitely look into that, the summary sounds absolutely bonkers (and reminds me of our assigned de Sade readings at uni, just. What--)
Thank you so much! :)
