Look, I'm late to this. More than "15 minutes late with Starbucks" late. Like, "several months late with no excuse" late. Well, maybe some excuses - the package arrived to my home address shortly after Christmas break, so I only got my hands on it a few weeks later when my mom stopped by for a short "are you still alive" visit. Because I've also been sick twice in between. Kid germs are lethal, folks. ANYWAY!! I opened the package in early February and it's never too late for a post I guess! Because
hamsterwoman truly outdid herself as a santa, as per usual!
We may (once again) not really have had much of a winter here, but this beautiful wrapping paper surely brought the vibes!!! Just unwrapping was a joy!!(Also pls ignore the dusty Adventskranz in the BG - I didn't have the time and mood to really light it much this December :') )
The card that came with the packages was the cutest. Look at this little cutie!!!
Oh, to be a happy winter seal!! Rather than candy canes, my dear santa included a whole array of delicious chocolates from SanFran and Hawaii:
The Ghiradelli squares and chocolates assortment were so good!!! My salted caramel dreams manifested, truly!! (And the assortment included something that is very nostalgic for me because my mother's friend from Wisconsin used to send it over every Christmas, apparently it's a type of brittle!) These chocolates definitely cheered me up during my sick days <3
Also included was this very pretty tea caddy with the Paris tea, which I instantly recognised by scent :) I'll try my friend Julia's suggestion and try it as iced tea as soon as it gets a bit warmer, I think :D
In my santa letter I joked that honestly, I woudln't swear that I didn't become a teacher only because I love shopping for stationary (a claim that is only more valid now considering I got transferred to the library and my main job currently is patching up damaged books :') I'll dream of clear tape one of these days, arrrgh). And my santa clearly ran with that :D
A collection of very handy and cute pastel highlighters, pagemarkers, washi tape and very #millenial avocado pushpins :D The squishable dog face is a tape holder to another very Christmassy tape:
There was also this super handy stamp (that unfortunately goes unused for now bc I was also stripped of my 6th graders after winter break :( But its day shall come!!!):
I also received this assortment of super cute stickers that I happily slap on all my mail atm:
The right cat one screams "Tag yourself, I'm..."
Also tangentially work related is this lil stress relief buddy:
(I feel it'd also work swell as a little voodoo doll. U watch out, Maggus.)
Too late for the family's Christmas tree, but just in time for me to get hyped for season three of my space dad comfort show, look at them:
(The Hallmark logo is so funny to me xD Because I mainly associate the name with their movies, so it's like, HALLMARK MOVIE AU, LET'S GOOO xD)
And last but not least, a lovely smelling soap (which I haven't gotten too, I'm currently on one of the 5 Body Shop green tea bars that I hamstered when they announced they'd retire the line :(), a lemon scented bath bomb that was used on a particularly drab sick day, and an amazing orange blossom hand lotion. I use it daily, it's so pleasantly summery!!
Thank you so much for being a stellar santa, my friend!!
