Week Furlough Almost Over!
This whole week I've been on unpayed furlough. Most of it spent at home because I have no money to really go anyplace. Not much fun. =(
Anywho, I've been mostly playing DOOM3. I have to admit I love playing the game. (Of course, I've been playing it on Nightmare mode ... with cheats. I know ... shame on the Ringtail! As Zazu from The Lion King, would say: "Cheetahs never prosper!" LOL! X)) ) It really can be creepy and makes you jump out of your seat at one time or another. The worst creatures is those little spider creatures in the game ... I hate spiders! They really creep me out when you hear them coming out of the vents or their legs tick-tapping across the floor. Of course there are those headless zombies, zombies without a jaw and the fat zombies with parts of their flesh removed that makes your skin crawl, as well! X))
Also been working on my sermon and Wally Wolf's commission, which is 3 years overdue! I admit that I've not been my artful self these last few years. I've seem to lost the ambition to do artwork, which has really depressed me. I really love doing art, but with my full-time work and with my pastoral duties, I get sidetracked or just don't feel like doing anything! I really REALLY want to get back to the drawing table and do art again!
One added problem is the lack of art equipment and supplies. I have no money to buy pens, pencils, inks, paints, canvas or paper to do my art. I got to get back to doing something! =(
I'll be glad to be back to work, coming Monday. My first paycheck of the month is going to be halved. But, hopefully, before the month of February ends, we have our 4th quarter meeting and get our 4th quarter and Yearly bonus, since we did make a profit, last year. Even despite the recession. I praise God that He is supplying my every need! =)
