Appropriate subject as FB reminded me that 3 years ago today, I landed in England.
1) Where did you go, and what did you do, on your last vacation trip?
Went to a resort near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I don't really say we went to PV, other than being at the airport and the one day my sister and I took a taxi into town. The resort is in the town north, and being at a resort is, to me, not really being in another country.
2) How often do you take trips for pleasure?
Not nearly as often as I'd like to. Maybe once a year, but not since starting my current job.
3) How much vacation time do you take each year?
Ha, I took 2 days off for Phoenix Comic Fest a couple of weeks ago. Other than that, I have used 3 days of PTO, sprinkled here and there. I really need to take a week off (just have to find time to make the request) so I can get out of Dodge for a while.
4) Are you satisfied/happy with the amount of time off you can take?
No. I miss teaching and it's pre-determined time off. At my current job, it's so busy all day I would have to use my entire breaks to make the time off request.
5) What would be your ideal or dream vacation if money and time were no object?
Backpack around Europe. Well, not backpack, but small rolling suitcase. Get a rail pass and just go alllllllllll over.
