chinook jargon

Jun 19, 2016 17:52

i got stressed out, think i ate something bad, and am still extra stressed now, so the japanese vocabulary spree is on hold for a bit until i get a handle on myself.

in the meantime i started learning chinook jargon again, the language born in my hometown area which really should be everyone's first language (everyone who lives there anyway). this time i've gotten way farther than before, i've learnt most of the words now and can actually understand sentences without looking at the translations.

i decided i'm going to make a memrise course for myself for it, including reading practise with (my own) translations, and when that's done i'll copy everything and publish it as a book. i really hope i get it done, i mean, i'm so tired of not having anything published yet... i think i'm going to use this as a new strategy for all my language books. make private memrise courses first, then copy + publish after.
