Neil: Bugger, I've always been a hedgehog!
shallowesque's birthday present to me was a ticket to attend An Evening with Neil Gaiman - part of the Luminato lineup. The tickets sold out in 3 minutes. By the time I even heard he was going to be in town, tickets were gone. Have I mentioned that shallowesque is awesome?

Neil read from The Graveyard Book (they really just need to let the man start doing ALL his own audio books), followed by a Q&A session and then he read Blueberry Girl, and one of the stories from Who Killed Amanda Palmer. If I thought I wanted to buy the WKAP book before tonight? Now I desperately need it. XD
We ended up waiting in line for just over 2 1/2 hours to get our books signed and (in my opinion) it was totally worth it. Neil personalized my copy of the Graveyard Book for my birthday. ♥
