Fic Bits: The Inside
I know I still owe ficlets to many of you, and believe me, you'll get them. But they've actually been expecting me to work at work, so it's slow going. I've also actually got the first chapter of the Jayne/Inara Epic, tentitvely titled 181 Days.
I'm running through The Inside for the second time, only this time with
aliaspiral, and we have fun commentary on how freaking adorable/hot Danny is.
How can you not love someone named Special Agent Danny Love?
This show is excellent all on it's own, but the fact that it has Adam Baldwin? Just icing on the cake. It's worth it just to watch him kick down the door in the rain. Guh.

Webb is one twisted fuck.
Danny knew that the moment he looked into the older man's eyes. There
was a desolation there. And a deadly determination.
In his experience, limited though it may have been at that time, there
was no more dangerous combination.
"Welcome, Danny."
Webb smiles and his skin was like ash when they shook hands, and Danny
felt the grit stain his hands and knew.
This man owned him.
Mel and Rebecca chat about Danny
Rebecca watched Danny walk away whistling. "Is he gay?"
Mel laughed, "Who? Danny?"
Rebecca nodded. "He likes to play dress up. Tahitian Maiden's Dream. Ex-Marine." She shrugged, "It makes sense."
"No," she shook her head. "No. He's definitely not gay."
Rebecca looked up sharply. "You guys...?"
"Once." Mel grinned.
