monsters go rawr?
Coming up with an interesting post on the drakaina (drakainoi?) in Greek mytholgy, especially those surrounding the Python/Delphyne, Ekhinda, and the Nemean Lion. I doubt most people would be interested, but its just really interesting to see the connections between certain gods and myths, and it makes one wonder... what came before the creation (aition?) myths? What was Delphi like under Dionysos, Gaia, and the Python? Why is Selene the nursemaid of the Nemean Lion? And why is Hera so connected with all of them?
It's interesting. It's also nice to be able to sit here and relax and research without having to deal with having so little spoons from work. Just time to sit back and relax and enjoy. :)
