Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh~<3
"A Dog's Breakfast" first ever screening was last night in L.A.!
We got there eventually, through bad traffic (hooray), and had some trouble finding the theatre in the mall but we made it to the line.
Not fifteen minutes after we got there, David showed up with Jane and was making his way down the line to say hi and chat with everyone!
Omg I was freaking out... I was so nervous.
But I played it cool and Dani and I took pictures with him and got him to sign our movie flyers.
(Pictures will be up a little later!)
It was all so awesome!
Oh yeah and he called Phong "Director" since he was in charge of taking someone else's photos too.
David thanked him again for the photos before we entered the theatre.
It's too bad Phong doesn't care a little bit more about SGA... SG-1 fo' life person, boo.
I got to shake Jane's hand, yay!
She worked hard organizing all this, so how could I not?
She's so pretty and British and I'm glad David has her. Wowoweewow...<3
The movie itself was side-splittingly funny!
David, Paul, Kate and special guest stars were all brilliant!
I can't reveal any more than that but they said they'll be working on getting it out on DVD soon, so go out and get it and you won't be disappointed!
Oh yeah, Kate was there a little later, no Paul though, much to Dani's disappointment.
Ahhhh, this is now one of my new favorite movies... watching it will always cheer me up and I'm sure it'll do the same for all you other stargate fans, SG-1, Atlantis, or both.
p/s: i meant to use the "squee!" vala icon, but since this concerns david hewlett, gotta use a mckay icon!
It's still sinking in that I met him and stuff... wheeeee<3<3<3
The fantastic actors trio!
*edit: I've been reading other ppl's journals abt their experience at the screening and why oh why wasn't I super snarky???
He would've liked us more and it would've been a totally better experience.
Damn me for being a nice person! Shit.
Apparently Vincenzo Natali was filming David the whole time too and I missed it! >.<
Also, apparently passerbys who didn't know who David was asked if he was in Pulp Fiction...
"What? Oh, you mean Quentin Tarantino? Uh... no." Lolz.<3
