30 Seconds to Mars -
First time I heard their song "Capricorn (A Brand New Name)" my first thought was "Hey, this song is good!", second thought was "The drummer is really good!", then I actually got a look at Shannon Leto and thought "Damn, boy is cute and a good drummer!". Been a fan ever since and, no, I do not like their songs just cuz I think Shannon is cute. I actually really like most of their songs thankyouverymuch.
Battlestar Galactica (original)-
I love Sci-Fi & fell in love with Richard Hatch, which of course does not explain why my favorite character is actually Boomer, but well, Apollo's character was a little too stuffy, Starbuck was a little too over the top, but Boomer was juuuuuust right. I thought the run was way too short (stupid TV execs don't know good stuff when it bites them in the okole!), but I suppose I'm glad that it even got aired. I own the DVD's and watched the revamped updated version on the Sci-Fi Channel, but my favorite is still the original.
Fall Out Boy-
Loved their song "Dance Dance" and thought the drummer was pretty good (you see a trend here?). Really started following them after seeing the video for "This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race". What hit me was the humor in the video as well as the song, which was really catchy and of course the drummer is good! After seeing that video I went and watched the rest of their videos and ended up buying their CD's since I found I liked a lot of their songs.
Makaha Sons-
One of the premier Hawaiian music groups around. I love their harmony and laid back sound. I've enjoyed their music from way back from when both Skippy and Israel Kamakawiwaole were in the group. Always got me relaxed and calmed down after a long day at school and now after coming home from work.
Sam/Dean-
UST from the pilot I tell you, in fact from when they first see each other in Sam's room! Sam is cute, Dean is pretty, add to that the fact I love slash. What else can I say?
The Eagles-
One of the few things that I picked up from my father was his love of The Eagles. Love their songs and Don Henley is a great drummer who is also a great singer (do you SEE the trend here?).
UH Volleyball-
Anybody taking a look at my profile and sees that I live in Hawaii knows that Hawaii has big love for University of Hawaii sports, and one of the best loved teams is the men and women's volleyball teams. The women just kick big time ass and the men are awesome (also helps that we have good looking guys on the men's team). The games are always exciting to watch and half the island is at the arena cheering them on while the other half is at home watching it on TV and cheering them on from their living rooms (For your info I am part of the half that watches on TV since, and my friends will back me on this, whenever I go to any sporting events I ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS end up next to the drunk obnoxious people).
