Except that
callmerizzo offered some advice re: copy-and-pasting that works marvelously. Yay!

Got almost all my
hc_bingo prompts paired up with assorted fandoms (mostly Pendergast and Sherlock), and ideas sketched out. The
schmoop_bingo prompts are all paired up with fandoms too, although with sketchier ideas. That's okay, though, since plot doesn't need to factor heavily into most of them. Hurt/Comfort scenarios are a little trickier that way.
Actually I could almost do a blackout (time and enthusiasm allowing, of course) except for two of the prompts. Slaves (sexual), just isn't making anything ping, likely it's just not my kind of thing in the first place. And ... Wings (always there) -- what does that one even mean? *shrug* Almost makes having to come up with three (couldn't one have sufficed?) baby fics over in
schmoop_bingo easy.

Does this happen to anyone else? You read a really great book, but when you've closed it up and put it back on the shelf, you can't settle into a new book for several days afterward? Everything I picked up after finishing Fever Dream was just meh, not because of anything wrong with the books, they just weren't what I was in the mood for.
The Northbury Papers by Joanna Dobson, 2nd in her Karen Pelletier series, has finally hit the spot, however, but it took awhile.
And reminder to self: Must do a review of this series, and a couple others soon because pimping good books is one of life's sweet pleasures. :)

Will there be anything good on television this summer? Something that isn't crass and coarse fake reality?
