3 hours of class focused primarily on a color chart is redundant. I thought that project would take about 1 hour to complete. Must be one huge color chart. lol I'm surprised the teacher did not say what the next classroom assignment would be for those who finished early. Hope you had some good tunes to listen to.
It sounds as if you took on more than you can chew. Need money for school so you take more commissions than you can handle then buy stuff to fill in the gap for what you lost or to fill a need to escape your daily stressors. A twisted spiral. Don't blame you for wanting get on chat or buy stuff for your hobby. =) I have done something similar. Hope you don't become a horder like one of my friends have done. Feel free to give a holler if you ever want to chat or vent, I'm all ears.
Speaking of old collections, I unearthed my old Pokemon deck when I was cleaning & reorganizing my room last month. Asked my younger brother and he does not want it. I thought of maybe asking around in FA if anyone wants to doan art trade for it. Not sure if it's a good idea. I find it interesting about the different types of collections people have and how it shapes people into who they are, their ties to nostalia, And what it means for them.
It WAS a pretty big chart but yeah, 4 hours (oh yeah, it was actually 4 o_o) was so long and ridiculous ugh! She also makes us stand while we paint all the time (for 6 freaking hours) and IDK! maybe it's just me, but after about 2 hours I'm just liek I CAN'T CONCENTRATE! It's so annoying UGH I HATE THAT CLASS! We can't even listen to music, we're not allowed! :C Because she's always freaking talking and doesn't want us to ~miss anything~ even though sometimes she's just talking about herself..
I probably do have more than I can handle and I don't mind actually working on the commissions, I just hate when people constantly note asking how it's coming along. Like, they say 'no rush!' but then still note me all the time. I even tell people, I have a list so don't expect anything asap etc etc and they say OKAY NO PROBLEM! yet still note me so idk. I'm trying to make everyone happy but I can only do so much, you know? .-.;; I also feel like buying/collecting things lately has kind of been taking the edge off abit ._. I've been so stressed out and depressed over anything and everything under the sun but I really do enjoy searching for things online (and then actually being lucky enough to get some of them). Of course, that probably isn't the best way to go about this but it's my remedy atm hghjk
I always think about getting rid of my old cards too but I can never bring myself to do it! There's always ebay though if you're looking to get rid of yours. Then again, I still haven't sold anything on ebay yet so idk |D;
