Summary: Chinen, who was a "weird boy" described by the people who knew him,had enough of reading a book about happiness. he wanted to experience it, he set out on a adventure and somehow found such a place. he found someone. since then, his life has become more joyful and meaningful. but what if that joy can't last forever? what if he needs to abandon it so that everyone would be happy? what if... love isn't really joy?
"I SAID STOP!! NEVER!! NEVER!!! DON'T GO THERE! GOT IT!?"

his childhood friend, yuto... who would've thought that he would react this way even though he trusted him? also, why would he react that way? who was ryosuke anyway? was he that dangerous that yuto needed to react that way?
"yutti.. what's wrong?"
"you said ryosuke right? THAT ryosuke? in the forest?"
chinen only nodded and stared at yuto clarifying that he is ready to listen to what yuto is going to say. just when yuto was about to say his reason, he realized something and looked right and left. they were in the middle of the road and everyone was staring at them. i mean, who wouldn't? these too popular dashing boys were yelling and there seemed to be a problem.
yuto dragged chinen to a place where they could talk in private... his house. now, yuto was a single child and since he was already 20, his parents allowed him to live alone. chinen was still 18.
"ne, yutti, what's wrong? why did you bring me here?"
"you shouldn't go there anymore chii... never again...."
"that's why i'm asking you.. why??"
both of them were sitting on a sofa facing each other. and with this serious atmosphere, it was obvious that the only possible noise except theirs was the sound of the clock ticking.
"chii.... i don't know how to say this but...."
"but what yutti???! tell me everything!"
"chii, he's a murderer... he's insane... he's a monster"
"wha-??ho-how...why??"
chinen could not believe why his childhood friend was saying that ryosuke is a bad guy... so naturally, he gave him his puppy eyes attack.
"ughhh.. fine.. i'll tell you a legend ok? this is a story that really happened here.. in our village. umm... this was told to me by my mom so... i can't really say the details...."
"once upon a time, there lived a handsome young man who was very kind and intelligent.
every villager trusted him and were his close to him. he was quite popular also.
especially for the young women. every women in the village loved him.
every single one of them. but all of them were neglected.
despite his cold attitude towards love, women still loved him and wishes to marry him.
but there was this one young lady who didn't admire him like others do.
she was kind and pretty and known for her gentleness.
but she had a flaw, she was blunt and straightforward.
she didn't have any interest in men. nor did she have any interest in marriage.
one day, this two perfect people met.
they bumped into each other when they were buying food.
the two were obviously mesmerized by each other.
even though both of them were individually popular,
but because, they cared less about people they don't know,
it was their first time knowing that each other existed.
and this meeting were seen by a group of jealous women.
the next following days, the young man would search around for the young lady.
but to no avail, no one seemed to like to tell him about the young lady.
on the other hand, the girl was also looking for the young man.
but like the young man, men, who loves her wouldn't tell her.
after a few weeks of desperate searching, the two finally met.
on that spot, the young man proposed to her to ask her hand in marriage.
ofcourse, the young lady said yes. both of them were happy.
but none of the villagers were. all of them hated their love for each other.
at the day of their wedding, both of them didn't know about the plans of the villagers.
the young lady, who was preparing herself at her house was kidnapped by a bunch of young men.
they raped her mercilessly and killed her.
the young man who was waiting for her just stood there until it was night.
then, one young lady, who actually started this plan, told him where his loved one was.
the young man ran and ran to the forest and saw her.
she was naked. it was obvious that she was raped cruelly before being killed.
her eyes were filled with blood of tears and....
"*sobs* go-gomen ne.. chii.. i just... it's just so sad... how.. how could they? this story always makes me cry..."
yuto just kept crying for a while while covering his face. as if, he knew that girl so well... and when chinen tried to calm his friend down, yuto looked at him and smiled.

every day, he would go visit her grave and bring her flowers.
and everyday, he would cry. he would talk to her grave as if she was still alive and smile bitterly.
and everyday, young ladies were still trying to marry him.
one day, he overheard a conversation between the young ladies.
they talked about how intelligent they were that they killed his loved one. because now, they have a chance.
hearing this, he got mad and punched the girl. he asked who started this with anger.
they all followed and brought him to the house of the lady.
in that house, the young man pretended to love the woman.
on that night, they made love. but it wasn't passionate, it was harsh.
he then killed her.
he also killed every man who he knew loved his beloved
he accused all of them for raping her. even those who didn't.
he also made love to every girl (or should i say raped?) who loved him.
but in the end, he killed them all.
he was outraged. he hated this village.

chinen then suddenly yelled at dark sky,
"gods! i beg you! let me stay with ryosuke. give me his curse, i'm sure we can handle anything if we're together! i.. i can't live without him anymore! .. if it's true that i am indeed his past lover who got raped and killed, please, give us a chance to be together! even if it's going to be different now, please, let us have the happiness that we deserve. that should have before and now! i beg of you! i want to be with ryosuke! i love him!"

yuto on the other hand, just smiled. he also wanted to cry but, what would he cry about? because he will lose his bestfriend? he will lose chinen? no, he can't cry about that. he knows that chinen would be much happier in ryosuke's arms. he knows that this is what he wants. what his heart desires. indeed he might miss him but, yuto wanted chinen's happiness and he can't give it to him. only ryosuke can.
then suddenly, out of nowhere, a huge blast of lightning stroked down directly at chinen. he shrieked loud and in pain, both ryosuke and yuto could feel it. how much pain chinen was feeling but they can't do anything.
when the lightning and thunder stopped, all they could see was a chinen yuri laying on the grass, motionless.
