Cat and Mouse
In this play of cat and mouse
An escapade of hearts
I play for keeps that will never end
Because I play without a start
Tempt me with an acme trap
And I'll always grab the cheese
I'll tempt you with my mousey tail
Then run back to my hole
Peeping out I'll see you slumber
A feline nap in that sunny spot
Upon your wake I run for cover
Until the coast is clear
See neither of us will ever win
This game of cat and mouse
But I'll never smile more
Then when you chase me around the house...
