Off to Boston
I'm at the airport now, about to head off to Boston.
I wish it were for happier reasons, but unfortunately my mother has taken very ill, and so I kinda need to get home right away and I'm not sure when I'll be back.
There's no real way to sugar-coat this: she's got terminal cancer and the family is prepared for this to be the end. I'm holding up okay so far, but I'm not expecting this to be a very pleasant trip.
Anyhow, I'll be in touch. Last time I checked, Massachusetts still had Internet.
