The weather was actually semi-nice today~!! It made me incredibly happy to see light shining through my window curtains around 11:30 today, of course, this was after I was already in a state of giddy squee from the w-inds. con report by

And the photo meme is finished~! That was fun ^____^ Ah, so this week, the highlights are fishing and going to Japantown! It was on Tuesday that I went fishing with my school friends, and I was so dead from it, that the fatigue lasted until I went to sleep yesterday... @____@ I was too tired to write anything coherent yesterday because I spent 2 hours sitting in front the comp trying to update, but was only able to write 2 paragraphs... Anyways, the fishing trip, we went fishing at the pier where it was cloudy and windy around lunch time, but became sunny, however was still windy, by 2. At the beginning, there was a lot of fail because my friend (who owned all of the fishing equipment) didn't know how to set up the fishing rods and the lines... and we ended up asking a nice old man for help ^_____^ Then I failed at casting off... so another guy came by to teach me XD But the most fail was that, we didn't bring buckets... nothing to store the fish or crabs in, except for plastic bags, and there was no way to get sea water to keep them alive. This resulted in attempts to get water by tying bottles and plastic bags to our crabbing nets XDDD;; The plastic bag method worked the best.
Everything was not fail though, our crabbing group did fairly well... except for when seals showed up. Every time the seals were in view, we'd desperately put up the crabbing nets in hope that the seals wouldn't get at our bait, even so... one of our nets were bitten (but weren't too damaged). Now I'm starting to wonder why other groups didn't worry about their crabbing nets because I don't remember anyone else pulling theirs in... the seals don't like us >___< After about 6 hours of fishing and crabbing, we came up with 4 fish and 12 crabs (there were more crabs, but they weren't big enough), and those 4 fish were caught only within the last hour before we left XDD;;
So many trips to Japantown this summer, but this time, there was a reason for going~ It was to get an item exchanged, but it took maybe even 2 hours to figure out what to exchange that item with. And in the end, I settled for a Japanese magazine comic. Um... something to note about the market at Japantown, it seems that every time my friend and I develop a liking for drink, the drink is not being sold the next time we head back there =|
