I'm back from the land of procrastination ;D Hm... since I've been "gone" for a month, I'll just list out some of the things I've been up to (aside from browsing LJ & w-inds. sites):
-watched dramas & a movie: (I'm thinking... all of them have been hkdramas this month) Placebo Cure, War & Destiny, On the First Beat, and A Change of Destiny... and now I'm in the middle of The Slicing of the Demon & Relentless Justice, but I don't think I'll finish the first one...
It was probably my third time watching War & Destiny, although I do tend to rewatch hkdramas a lot cause my mom & brother miss a lot of the parts, I watched this one again cause I really liked the characters. It's about a family living in Nanjing during WWII, but I can't really say that it was historically accurate.
Ah, about 2 weeks ago, my friends convinced me to go to the theaters with them to watch Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, but we ended up watching Transformers instead. It was such a good movie =DD I was kinda freaked in the beginning, one, because I went for Harry Potter, and two, it was some war scene. But it was so thrilling and cute and funny ^____^ I'd like to watch it again.
-went to Japantown, twice: one the first trip, there was a lot of standing around and looking around the manga section for the particular titles Alice Gakuen & Kimi to Boku no XXX. It didn't help that we didn't know the publishing companies of the mangas --;; On the next trip, I picked up the August issue of Junon, and a manga that I'll be exchanging for Saiyuki Gaiden vol. 3 for
tsubasaxchan ..oh! and on one of the trips, I was fascinated by the shiny (literally *_____*) Duet cover that featured Kinki Kids...
-played sports: football, kickball, baseball, and bowling =D I bowled a 49 for my first ever game then a 89 for my second ^____^
-summer reading: Cold Mountain & The Red Badge of Courage... still haven't finished. I hope to finish by the end of this week, then I can be hw free til school starts.
