Summary: As Yamada Ryosuke’s boyfriend Chinen wants to bake a cake for him. Unfortunately, it’s not as easy as he may think.
‘‘AAAHHH!!’’ Chinen screamed when he opened oven’s door and thick black smoke streamed out. Quickly he took out a burned cake and placed in on top of the oven.
‘‘YURI!!’’ the chubby cheeked boy yelled for his lover as he heard him screaming. He looked at his Chinen wearing an apron while hiding something.
‘‘What are you doing?!’’ he asked as he opened a window in the kitchen.
‘‘Nothing! Get away from here!!’’ Chinen yelled as he pushed his boyfriend out of the kitchen.
‘‘But-’’ the latter tried to protest but the younger one kept on pushing him away.
‘‘Out!!’’
Chinen followed the older boy with his stare to make sure he won’t come back to the kitchen or even look at his direction. Then he turned around and walked back to his burned cake.
‘‘Mou… no matter how much I try, it always turns out burned…’’ he sighed.
‘‘Demo…’’
~~Flashback~~
4 days earlier
After an interview, Chinen was walking to a JUMP room to get his bag, but soon he realized that he left his watch in the room where he had his interview. He returned to the place where it was but before entering the room, he heard people talking inside it. The door was slightly open to the room, so Chinen peeked inside it. There he saw the same man who interviewed him, and opposite him was sitting another guy, very familiar and close to Chinen, no other than his own boyfriend.
He felt rude to interrupt his boyfriend’s interview, so he just stood outside and listened to his answers to the questions.
‘‘If you had a girlfriend, what would you want her to cook for you?’’ the interviewer asked. Without second thought, Yamada gave his answer.
‘‘Sweets. Like cookies, and cakes. My heart would melt, if I received such things from her.’’
Hearing this answer from Yamada, Chinen’s heart throbbed and many thoughts started running through his mind.
‘‘Eeh, and what kind of cake do you prefer?’’ Yamada slightly lifted his head, thinking for a while.
‘‘Hmm… I like many cakes but after all strawberry cake is the best.’’
This is when Chinen decided to bake a cake for his prince, to make him happy and as the chubby cheeked boy claimed, to make his heart melt.
~~End of flashback~~
‘‘Yosh! I’ll do my best!’’ the little boy declared to himself and started to mix ingredients in a bowl, making a new cake.

After a hard work, he finally could make the cake. Looking at the previous burned cakes, it’s a miracle that this one completely succeeded, or probably just the effort for the one he really loves.
‘‘Ryosuke~!’’ Chinen yelled for his boyfriend, cannot waiting him to taste his creation.
‘‘Nani~’’ the chubby cheeked boy playfully sang.
‘‘Ettoo… this’’ Chinen placed the cake on a table in dining room and Yamada’s eyes started sparkling, especially when he saw those strawberries on top.
‘‘Oishisou~’’ the chubby cheeked boy declared, almost drooling looking at the wonderful cake.
‘‘I made it by myself!’’ Chinen said proudly and someone’s enthusiasm dropped.
‘‘…You… made… this?’’ Yamada asked a little terrified pointing at the cake.
‘‘Mou, Ryosuke! I tried so hard to bake it!! Baka!’’ the smaller boy yelled as he grabbed the cake and started walking fast to the kitchen.
‘‘Yuri, wait!’’ the chubby cheeked boy followed his lover.
‘‘I’m sorry, I’ll eat it!!’’ he promised and the squirrel peeked at him slightly pouting and frowning.
As the chubby cheeked boy promised, now he was sitting at a table taking his first bite while Chinen was standing near him, hoping that he didn’t fail.
‘‘How is it?’’ he asked. Yamada swallowed before answering.
‘‘Sugoku oishi!!’’ he screamed and started eating more.
‘‘Hontou ni!?’’
‘‘Un!’’ the chubby cheeked boy nodded still busily eating the cake his lover made.
‘‘I’m so full~’’ Yamada exhaled and patted his bulging stomach. Meanwhile, Chinen just stood next to him overjoyed, his heart beating fast.
The latter’s gentle gaze turned at his beloved boyfriend standing next to him. He reached his arm forward and said.
‘‘Come here’’ Chinen walked closer expecting for a hug but as he got close to him, Yamada pulled his chin and pressed his lips against Chinen’s.
‘‘Good job, my angel’’ He said softly after he released the kiss and stroked the smaller boy’s head.
