I'm incredibly underwhelmed by the Zero Squad. The Zero must go for "Zero cool", the designs are boring as hell. I'm not even interested in them anymore.
I'm also disappointed at how fast they showed up. I was hoping at least one or two more chapters of picking SS's shit back together before they came into the picture.
I don't give a damn about Kon. I never have and never will, and I have no idea of what was Kubo going at when he just decided to waste 2 pages in a character that will obviously play no role in this war -other than, well, waste pages-
The approach on the broken Bankai was interesting, I liked the detail he went into about Zabimaru and Hozukimaru. Still it feels like a contrived plot device to either make Ichigo powerless -seriously, having and un-stealable Bankai was the only good thing about him- and/or force him into his stupid Quincy powers.
Ahhh maybe I need to take a break, I have no idea of what Kubo is doing anymore. I loved last week's chapter, but the general direction the story is taking just keeps pissing me off.
