How sad...?
So, my DVR hiccupped the other day - my cable company is updating the software - and deleted most of the season 8 NCIS episodes I had on there, episodes I still haven't gotten around to watching. I also noted that it cleared out the usual scheduled recording for the show so when Tuesday rolls around, it won't be getting the new ep.
And much to my surprise, I'm not that bothered. I actually went ahead and deleted the other season 8 (and a couple of season 7) episodes from the hard drive with little more than a shrug. How sad is it that I just don't much care about the show anymore? After all the effort I've put into watching and enjoying it over the years, I find myself utterly disinterested in even scanning new eps.
Yeah, I know some of my friends here are still watching and enjoying the show, but I'm sad to say that I'm officially moving on from NCIS entirely. They already utterly ruined the Tony character for me, then followed up by screwing over Ziva, so I'm gonna call it a day.
"Justified" can't come back on soon enough...
