Still A small world...

Working for a Caricature company has it's perks. Today there was an "Art Jam" down by I-drive. I couldn't go to the whole event because I had class, but I showed up for the last 20 minutes or so.... :/

Anyway, while there I met several artists including one named Sabien. He lives on my side of town, and doesn't have a car (he took the bus to get there) so I offered to give him a ride. It was rush hour at this time so he showed me the all street way back to Alafaya/Curry Ford. Since it was a long drive we naturally talked. As it turns out he used to work at the Disney animation studio that was in MGM. He worked the tour route and did some inside work for Mulan I believe. He aspires to be comic book artists like myself, except he's further along I'd say.

We started talking about comics and of course I told him that I read Sonic the Hedgehog. He then told me that one of his friends had worked on Sonic. I asked him who and he said Sanford Greene. Sanford did some of my favorite Sonic covers a couple years back. He now works on the on-going Wonder Girl series.

Like I said... small world.
