I want to elaborate more on the FMA because I'm bored and have nothing else to do at this time being. So now that the FMA did not pass what is next? Another round of FMA till congress gets sick of it and passes? Probably not. Honestly I don't think anything is going to happen. I think they're just going to pretend it didn't happen and nothing will change. States still won't accept same sex marriage licenses. People say it's wrong or it's going against god. So is stealing, killing, divorcing, lying, disobeying elders, etc... Didn't God say that no sin is greater then any other sin. So it's ok for a female and a male to marry and by odds divorce then do it all over again, but for two people who love each other who happen to be the same sex it's totally inmoral. Why am I talking about religion? It doesn't come down to religion. Those who are against LGBT people, a majority of them are all about their religion. Some hate out of ignorance. Some hate for economics concerns. People can get married out of a church. But what happens when gay people get recognized as marital standards and gain all the rights as all other heterosexual married couples? The world will go nuts and there will be gay people running around getting married and divorce and the heterosexual people will die out (I'm soooo just kidding). Really though, what will happen? You tell me. I'd like to get married one day when I find the right person not for equal rights but for love, to prove committment, and to be recognized as a couple who love each other. In order to do that though I need to be able to get that right. There is Unions that allow partners some rights; for example visiting your partner in the hospital. If I'm correct though it's not recognized when you go to other states though, only the state you got the Union in. It's not enough. So...what am I going to do? The question is How? and Who will help me in this fight? There is only so much people can do. What if it isn't enough to fight the bigots in this world?
