1st Brushstroke - Arrival [Open]
[Something was off. Satoshi could tell well before he opened his eyes. He was laying in the grass and there was a breeze. But more importantly was the fact that something was not there that should have been. He couldn't feel Krad lurking in his mind or the usual pain he felt due to his presence. But he wasn't going to purposely try to talk to him...
Instead, he opened his eyes and stared up at the standing stone he was laying in front of. He didn't recognize it from anywhere. Sitting up to look around showed him there were more of them, but nothing else.
It wasn't until he moved to stand though that he noticed the changes in himself too, starting with his hands, feet, and the pale blue tip of a brushlike tail. When the tail whipped back, leaving a streak of blue in the grass, his head turned to follow it and he caught sight of a bit of blue on his back. What was going on?
Looking at his hands again, and then down his front he frowned. At least he appeared to be bipedal. Awkwardly, he got to his feet, the tail affecting his center of balance. Leaning forward slightly seemed to help keep it off the ground, he figured out as he walked slowly around, but to avoid leaving his mark everywhere he went, he would need to learn to control the thing. He pushed up his glasses with a sigh and walked towards the road he'd seen while working on his balance. It was likely some answers were wherever it led.]
