art and serendipity on a rainy monday night

poeticdream and i were driving around rockland tonight talking about why i made the logo the way i did on my business card (image to follow once my business card is actually finalized). i said that robert indiana's
LO

it is, but it's visiting rockland at the farnsworth museum; it's been here for at least a year :-P

Doesnt Robert Indiana live/lived somewhere near rockland?
From what i remember, it might have been vinalhaven (though i could be remembering it wrong since im partial to that area)
Also, he never copyrighted the "LOVE" image, so it got ripped off a whole lot. They even had a stamp series with it, and he never saw a dime.
