art and serendipity on a rainy monday night
poeticdream and i were driving around rockland tonight talking about why i made the logo the way i did on my business card (image to follow once my business card is actually finalized). i said that robert indiana's

VEsculpture was my inspiration. then we drove past it, on Elm street, by the Farnsworth Museum. serendipitously, it's been here for a while on display. i like the feeling that i could say "hey, drive over and we'll take a look at it and i'll show you what inspired the logo". that's just cool. here's the sculpture:
as an aside, i think this tshirt is awesome, and i want it:
