I think I broke my toe. It was hurting Sunday after our dives, and on Monday night I cracked my toe knuckles and ever since then it's just been THROBBING. It's starting to turn dark too. :/ Apparently the only thing you can do for a broken toe is tape it to the one next to it in hopes of speeding up the healing. It hurts like a mother.
I mailed off a care package today to Iraq. I "adopted" a female soldier there... a friend of mine had "adopted" a soldier in her company, who had noted that there were several people in their group with no family who were getting no mail at all. Mail is a big deal out there, which makes sense. So, I offered to befriend one of the girls. I rounded up every small/trial size toiletries I could find, girlie magazines, candy, little debbie snacks, pens, paper, envelopes, sugar, hot chocolate, creamer, etc. and shipped it all out. I don't know anything about her, but, I figured everyone needs this kind of stuff. Hopefully I'll get more info on what she needs/likes when I hear back from her.
