to the place that was before

i think when you run away at the age of 21, it doesn't really count as running away right because your parents probably don't want you in their lives as much as they would a year back.
people expect persons at the age of 21 to have made a choice in their lives and decide what they want to do with their lives at that age. I hope I can make that same decision.

~ you can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave ~

the feeling of dread slowly sinks in, usually in the manifestation of acid burning in your stomach and you feeling sick at 3am because you have not had enough food for the past few hours.

I can't sleep.
On a more practical note, i've been reading Friedman and it is sheer genius.

intend to finish reading hot flat and crowded, because i did enjoy the first few chapters of it, until he started talking abt al gore and global warming did it start to get a tad banal, as if the charts and figures served any other purpose than making it  even more boring. though the analysis within there is genius. I remember one of my favourite articles from the new york times (i read the economist more often) would be from Friedman because of his pure wit and genius. the only article i've ever posted on the much-disgusted site, facebook was the article by friedman on WikiChina, it was so witty and accurate that I almost expected it to be real, including the unapologetic arrogance of the chinese officials which were so accurately portrayed, rarely do newspaper articles make me laugh. though i do not understand why he chose such a boring (yes albeit imminent) topic - global warming to write his 2.0 book on. someone get me the world is flat because i'm getting sick of squatting, it is so hot in here.
