Well after a bit of retarded texting with H yesterday I got home and tried to get a song out of some cool lyrics. My idea was to do a country spin on the KISS classic "Cold Gin" I found this pretty easy since
1. I've played in country bands before so the music is already in my noggin,
2. KISS' lyrics are great in this particular song and suited the kind of music me and H have been talking about,
3. I've only actually heard the KISS song once since as many of my friends know I fucking loathe KISS. So i decided to fuck with their song.
The result was that I wrote a perty kool chord progression and sang the words out till they matched, went upstairs and had a smoke, then I came downstairs, dropped everything down a step and tried again and whammy!...new song.
So once I talk to H I'd definately like to help him out with his newest venture
