I want to share my history with Jyanisu. I knew about them back in 2006 from V6 "Darling" and Takitsuba "True Heart" pvs that I got from a CD (I think the title of the CD was Best of Jpop 2004). At that time, the idea of idol group was still a weird and foreign concept to me, but when I saw V6, they were very interesting and I instantly got hooked.
I decided to look them up and soon found out about their agency. I even managed to find video of Johnny's Countdown 2005 - 2006, and that was the first time I saw Kanjani8. They were singing Kanfuu Fighting, and my first impression of them was "that guy is so white, that guy voice is amazing, that one is also in NEWS right"
I don't really think too much of them. I was more interested in NEWS and KAT-TUN at that time. But I still listened to their songs, along with the other jyanisu's songs, I just didn't exclusively follow them.
Anyway, real life hit me hard and around 2010ish, I stopped following every jyanisu. Now that I think back to that time, I kinda forgot what I was into that managed to make me stop following jyanisu. I know that that was the time I prepare my final paper for college, but other than that what actually happened? I don't really remember it. Probably graduation then job hunting. Yeah, most likely job hunting made me lost my interest in everything.
So, a few years ago, in 2015, I got my interest back in jyanisu. First it was because I got a recommendation on youtube for HSJ new single, Kimi Attraction. And my first impression was like "wow, these kids have grown up! oh and Inoo is in front. Finally!" and I started looking for more info about them. I even created this account so I can join the communities.
In 2017, I got my interest back to the group that introduce me to jyanisu in the first place, V6. I really love their dynamic as a group. More than a group, those people are like a healthy and loving family. Also, their songs are catchy.
Finally, at the end of 2018, when I watched Johnny's Countdown, I saw Kanjani8 and it was an instant love at first (or second?) sight for them. Especially Okura. From there, I've searched non-stop over the web for them. I binged-watch chronicle for 2, maybe 3 weeks in a row and laughed so much! I joined communities and met many amazing and kind eighters in the span of a month! And I also love their songs, especially the band ones.
It certainly feels so good to be at the place that makes you happy, and Eito, as well as V6 and Jump has provided that. I'm so happy to be back as a jyanisu fangirl!
