I'm actually pretty bummed they got added to the Boston DMBQ show. It was gonna be really chill and fun and good vibes all around, but LB fans are notoriously FUCKING IDIOTS at shows and are going to ruin the crowd. wah wah wah.

I don't see how it's elitist to want to be able to see my favorite band live. I mean actually see. I've been to 3 LB shows but I've actually SEEN the band for a total of maybe 5 minutes. At every show there are hundreds of people like me who don't feel like getting crushed in the front so they have to hang around the back and listen even though most of the sound is absorbed the the mass of bodies surrounding the band. I have nothing against people having fun and dancing at shows but I have seen kids punch each other in the neck trying to get up close and that's just bullshit.

i dunno, our experiences obviously differ. i just saw them in pa, my knees were aginst his floor tom, and i didnt have to really deal with any violence and i really didnt have to fight for it at all. better luck.

hi my name is evan and i hear you on that, lazerviking. i understand how you would be upset that LB is playing with DMBQ, another band you love, because it will most likely be more crowded and more rowdy, but in my experience LB fans only really go nuts when LB is playing and they don't push and squash as much during the other acts at a show. i hope that you truly get to see and hear DMBQ without being pushed and squashed

yes yes yes i have seen lighting bolt 8 times and my experience tells me that when they play at venues that serve alcohol the Lb crowds tend to be much more inconsiderate, rowdy and obnoxious whereas all the times ive seen them at all ages, no-alcohol venues (for instance the recent show in philly) its been much more friendly, high energy but positive energy experiences..so yeah..thats basicly it.. dont drink at Lightning bolt shows! you'll just ge tdhydrated and lose you judgment! -cory ps the first two times i saw lb they were playing with DMbq at theeeey were grrreaat., im so sorry about the drummer she was really amazing , the star of the band honestly.
