Leaving today to visit some friends over the weekend, but my immune system has been putting up a pathetic performance. I've found some syrup that dries me up, but it's ... very strong. I have to force myself to get any kind of work done. Or respond to stimuli.
TMI but I must have started ovulating or something because OH MY GOD bizarre hormone-and-cough-syrup-fueled fever dreams ruling my life the past two days.
It could be worse though; I've got a friend on a ventilator in ICU due to a freak combination of sudden diabetes+infection+dehydration+electrolyte imbalance just four days after she discovered her toddler has a rare type of hemophilia. Yikes, sorry Jen :[ But she's only 27 -- she'll pull through fine, and she just got hired by a university; close a door and open a window, etc.
Wish I had something else to report, but being gross has been my #1 job lately.
