Sounds like a glorious LONG day, Ric! I've been hiking in the hills when no one was there and there would be no photo that would do it justice. And I'd be taking pics every 5 seconds cause of the beauty! *grin* Thanks for an interesting & very classy piece.

Thanks Gracie. I'm up at o'dark 30 and off to Mount Baker tomorrow. A summer Sunday will gaurentee I wont be alone though.

I like the background being monchrome but the foreground really needs to have color or more defined contrast. I do like the background as a panorama

I also like a vertical composition with about a third of both sides cropped off with a little more from the left.
