Sauk Mountain
I hiked up Sauk Mountain in the North Cascades yesterday morning. The trail head is 50 miles from my home and I woke at 4:30 to beat any crowds and the days heat. Sauk stands at 5400 feet and the wildflowers are peaked almost all the way to the top. I didn't get too many great flowers pictures, hard hiking and photogrpahy don't always go together for me very well. Sometimes I see something that I think will really shine in black & white. This is actually a selectively desaturated color rather than true B&W image.
