C4 says sorry for 'Simpsons' U2 swearing

Channel 4 has issued an apology after airing an episode of "The Simpsons" in which Mr. Burns calls U2 "w****ers".

Earlier in the show, U2 member Larry Mullen is seen using the insult - which is not considered offensive in the US - on his bandmates. Mr. Burns imitates him during the closing credits.

Gareth Dunlop is a beautiful musician from Belfast. He opened for Kiernan McMullan on Saturday at Dolans in Dublin and the band really liked him. I checked him out and I can see why. Wow.
