Newbery Medal and Honor Books

Last year I consumed books voraciously, partly because I'd continued 4 book challenges (and sort of a fifth) and joined an IRL book club as well as an IRL Shakespeare on the Beach club where we read plays on the beach together. I finished with 123 books - 46 when you cut out the audiobooks and graphic novels.

I still have an obscene number of books that I started and haven't finished yet, and I have an even more obscene purchased-to-read ratio. I buy WAY more books than I read, and I read WAY more borrowed books than ones I actually spend money for. Still trying to find a way to fix that.

This year, I am still trying to revisit the books I didn't have time for in college - the ones I was supposed to read for classes but mostly skimmed. And I found 8 challenges this year. I'm not insane or anything. You don't need to call anyone.

I did set a goal of 100 again this year, but if my goal falls far short but I become closer to the stories, so be it. Mostly, I just want to ENJOY reading!

Like always, I am going to post my book list here, keep it in Memories, and update as necessary. One day I will finish these half-completed challenges; this year perhaps?
