Newbery Medal and Honor Books

I had a productive year with 74 in 2012 - (I would have liked to have read one more for a more rounded number, but what the hey!). For those of you who might say that audiobooks isn't reading, then I read 25. Also, blow me. :D

I finally cleaned up some malingerers, but not nearly enough. And along the way, I picked up some more. But hopefully with my aforementioned new self-discipline strategy (derisive snigger), I will be more vigilant in reading new books.

Once again I give myself the freedom to not finish books that I do not like and books that I cannot get into (but I probably won't utilize it), and I urge myself to complete all these half-finished books that lie neglected around my house (and the library) (you know, like I wanted to last year and the year before). I want to lean toward a more literary bent, reading books that may appear on the GRE test, in case I win the lotto and can go back to school to work on my Master's (or in case I meet with other literary snobs).
