How the hell did that happen?
Sooo remember how I said I was going to back off of organizations on campus and such?
Yeah, that's not going so well.
Okay so yes, I'm not running the SFS anymore. But that hasn't stopped a slew of nominations for stuff in other groups to come my way.
I've been nominated for Masquot in Masque, the position I currently hold. While I'm flattered someone would want me to do it for another year, it's a pretty tiring job, and I know of some people (at least one in particular) who really wants to do it, more than I would. I'm probably going to drop from that.
I've also been nominated for Director (and failing that, Producer) of Empty Set. I was worried I'd be the only one running, as Carol had said before she didn't want to run for pretty much anything in any groups, but she is running for that. We'll see where that goes. I certainly wouldn't mind producing with her as director, but at the same time, I'd really like to take a crack at directing. Didn't get nominated for SCP Rep (another position I currently hold). If someone nominates me, I'd absolutely accept (in addition, Carol's not going to be doing any SCP-specific stuff, which would likely leave me as President next year). But if no one wants to nominate me, that's fine too. Failing that, I'm hoping to run for at least SCP Rep in GI. Debating Producer as well (which is honestly about as minimal of a job as it really gets). We'll see.
I've also been nominated for Vice President of Alpha Psi. This one... finds me extremely conflicted. On the one hand, man that'd be sick, being vice in a theatre honor fraternity. On the other hand, holy balls is that a lot of work, plus it means I wouldn't be allowed to induct anyone in D or B Term 2009. I have until tomorrow, and honestly I can always drop if someone else jumps in and is better suited or something.
