The Lorax - Movie

*edit* Not sure why I am misspelling everything today...so sorry...

I saw The Lorax yesterday! It was awesome! For my inner child, I was practically squealing in joy! I loved most of it! The singing, the humor, the characters were awesome. Some things that just kinda bugged me, the voice acting wasn't spectacular, just some weird moments that made my eyebrows shoot up to my forehead, and…the politics in it.

Even though I am not quite an environmentalist, and I agree that we should take care of our trees and oceans, but putting it in a movie? That to me...just rubs me the wrong way. I feel wrong about it even when I agree with the things they are doing and I know it is a common practice, but that doesn't mean I have to like it! *shrugs* Other than that, I loved the movie! Yeah...a bit cheesy...but not really too bad.

There was about a four/five year old that had went to see the movie that was giggling the whole time when something adorable or funny happened. And when she started giggling, everyone else broke into laughter too! Just the most adorable and wonderful sound in the theater! I wasn't really expecting to like it so much, but I did. AND, my sister's boyfriend of three weeks paid for our tickets. How nice is that?

Anyway, loved the movie, probably one that you should go see with your kids. I wish my niece had seen it! She would have adored it! (Not big kids though, my brother hated it and my sister just said that the singing was annoying but that she liked it. I LOVED the singing!)

Unfortunately the seating was horrible, but I sort of expected it from that movie theater. By the time the movie was half way, my knees and legs were cramped up. So that was the only thing I really, really hated. I am now only going to my favorite theater, which has never bothered my legs enough that they started cramping up! AND I am a tiny person! So...it was much worse for those that were bigger than me....aka...everyone else.

But despite everything, I SO enjoyed myself!
