NY Farm Sanctuary needs (physical) help over the holidays
Hi friends,
Remember that amazing time interning at Farm Sanctuary i couldnt stop yapping about? Want to have a time like it?
I just got a message that they're down a bunch of staff and interns at the moment and are in a real pinch for help. This is great for those who want to intern, but can't commit a whole month, and who have time off from work/school/whatever. They need help between December 22nd and January 2nd. even if you can just offer a few days, it would help. If i wasn't out here floundering on the other side, i'd be there in a second, but unfortunately, that's the way it is.
Think of it is a conscientious vacation. It's beautiful in Watkins Glen, it's near Ithaca which is Ithacawesome, the animals are amazing creatures who will warm your heart (there is a chunk of mine missing since i left), the staff are some of the most incredible people i have ever met, you learn so much, and it's a real spirit experience.
