(no subject)
We had a meeting at work today. I thought bike shops didn't have meetings. We never had one at sears, or we may have. Either way, my job wasn't important enough to warrant attending (not that i would EVER want to). The best part was the ENTIRE meeting I was thinking about the internet-tv show Red vs Blue. It's the one with the HALO guys. It's really quite funny, even if you aren't a video game person. Its not important, what is important is the quote I kept thinking of.
"We talked about this at the last team meeting!"
"We actually talk about things at those? I usually just fall asleep inside my helmet!"
It kept me going through an hour-long detour through unneccesary land.
The only good thing that came out of it was that one of the shop guys is going to help me out. Because (in case you don't know) I don't know shit about bikes, other than my own. And i've taken mine apart about 3 times to learn about it already (don't tell my dad...it was his) in the last 3 weeks. Still, I don't know shit. But I talked to this guy Van and I just leveled with him, "Umm, I don't know shit about bikes and my training has consisted of 45 mintues of how to run the cash register". So basically in the mornings I'm going to help the shop guys build bikes while we aren't busy so i can actually learn my shit. Which is cool, I wanted to build bikes in the first place. Apparently though, I didn't know enough about bikes to build them, but I know enough to sell them (Wtf? I think those two should be the same!). Bah.
I head home tomorrow night (sunday) to prepare for removal of my wisdom teeth! Not how I like to spend time off, but meh. The car is here for me to drive home tomorrow, so I'm totally going to take my computer. Because I can get in some quality time with my old non-internet games like Oblivion and the Sims 2. That plus i can watch TV, or just watch more of my TV on my compy, my oh so sweet compy.
