Note to the world: The Ship is awesome!

I think this post is really just for darrell. For two reasons:
1. His icon of the guy falling is my desktop background right now, and I know it was his picture, but the irony is awesome, because I just put it up yesterday.
2. Darrell need to play this game called "The Ship"

It's like a murder-mystery, with heavy emphasis on MURDER. Basically, its an online game and you play some person (randomly generated each game) from the 1920's. And you're stuck on a big ship. You have to kill a specific person in the alotted time (about 2 minutes), before your hunter finds you. So everyone is being hunted; unless you manage to kill your hunter in self defense. There's a whole bunch of weapons strewn about the ship, and their frequency of use determines their value. The point of the game is to make money, which you get by killing people with rarer weapons such as manekin arms, screwdrivers, pots, and syringes. But if other people see you with weapons, you'll get sent to jail and lose all your weapons and a bunch of money. So stealth is involved.

If that weren't complicated enough, your character has a set of needs they need to fullfill just like in the Sims. And these can only be satisfied in various areas of the ship; this keeps everyone moving about. And every time you die, you come back as a different person, so it becomes impossible to remember everyone. You get a general location of your prey, and their name. You can only identify them by being really close to them, at which point you also get a mug shot.

On a completely unrelated note, why are hookah pipes so popular nowadays? Seems to me about as logical as bringing back Opium. Now there was a drug you could get attatched to.
