An interesting article here about the state of English football. Seems pretty astute, even viewed through the fog of my almost complete lack of footy knowledge. I don't even feel certain that it should be 'footy' rather than 'footie'.
However, a thought for Sean Ingle, the writer of the piece... you're probably more likely to be able to get away with denouncing a group of people as 'idiots' if, as a writer for a national broadsheet newspaper, you know the difference between 'less' and 'fewer'.
