Picture of the day.

Another closeup of an insect photograph this morning:

A fairly average butterfly, which landed on a wall next to me one day that I happened to have the camera with me. I like the detail on the butterfly, and it's colours, contrasting with the grey of the rock.

If I was to do any post-processing, it'd be to remove the slight chromatic aberration in the top left corner, where being right at the extreme edge of the lens with such a short focal length shows the weakness in the optics. However, I'm impressed that for a reasonably priced compact camera, the optics are of significantly better quality than quite a few cameras of the same price - I only seem to get this kind of issue at extremes (ie very long zoom or very close macro).
