I'm sure everyone's aware of the current flooding in Yorkshire, so I won't bother mentioning it (other than to say the my friend who lives near Rotherham has managed to recover his stranded car, but has been unable to leave his town today, due to all the roads being flooded ( Read more... )

I've just seent he pictures of the new Sheffield-Hillsborough swimming pool... not sure open air swimming will take on up the Penistone road.
