Actually, Pirates 4 isn't all that bad. It's certainly a lot better than the bloated, pompous, confusing mess that was At World's End. But it's not all that great either. Watch with suitably low expectations and don't bother with the lacklustre 3D ( Read more... )

I can't believe it's been a year since the last one...

I went to see Pirates 3 last night. It was okay, but definitely the weakest in the series. To be blunt, it just seemed to be a bit far up its own arse for its own good.
