In the last 24 hours
I have:
1: Had an umbilical hernia surgically repaired. OWIE Sore, but moving. Actually the more I more around, the less hurty I feel.
2. Got a tenative job offer. The ophthalmologist's office wants me to come spend the day on Monday, to see if I think I will like the job (and how they like me). I'm very excited by this, and am glad I did some wardrobe shopping last weekend.
3. Found what I believe will be excellent daycare for Alex. Jeff and I went over today so Jeff could meet the provider and see how Alex did there. He really enjoyed himself again (we went with #2 from my previous post). Jeff of course is sad that his little boy isn't going to be home with mama and/or dada all the time, but is glad we found a place he seems comfortable in.
And now, I'm off to the mall (sitter is driving) so kidlet can get a secret Santa gift for a party she is going to tonight.
