DC area flist peeps- Anybody need new pretties?
So in addition to my drawn art that many of you have seen on my journal, I do clothing art in rl. Lately I've been in a lull time with my established clientele, so I've been looking for new clients. Soo...
Anybody in the surrounding area of Washington DC need, or know anyone who needs a custom made costume or corset? Since I'm looking to expand my current client base, I'm willing to do great deals on custom made articles of clothing.
I make corsets from scratch (which is to say I create your very own pattern designed to be most flattering to you, I don't just work from a preexisting pattern and adjust to size). I make costumes of all sorts (belly dance outfits are a particular favorite of mine). I can even do custom suits (I did a silk zoot suit once, but I've also done very business like high class suits). I have done wedding dresses as well (in fact I happen to have an AMAZING lace with beading and raised flowers on it if someone wants to something like that...) I would adore doing something steampunk as well if anyone was interested.
If no one needs anything now, well keep me in mind for stuff in the future, particularly this summer when I expect to have time to do more sewing than in the fall. I can email pictures of my previous work if anyone wants to see too.
